Colleens 80th Birthday

Had the priviledge in shooting a 80th Birthday party that was held at the Bill Richardson Transport museum. We all met at the Museum entrance at 10:30am and then were shown up to one of their conference rooms which was all prepared for the Birthday and was catered for too. They have a few rooms which are up for renting out for events which is well catered for.

After we had dropped our belongings upstairs we were then guided into the museum itself till lunch would be served there at 12:30pm so off we went to investigate the large collection of Trucks,Old/New Cars and buses. They have a extensive range of vehicles there that Bill had collected as well as friends who have collected after he has passed away so there is a lot to take in and photograph there..even if you don't like the vehicles there's bound to be some memories evoked from these vehicles or little trinkets that are scattered across the building.

We all then moved off to eat and hear speeches that family and friends had to give to Coleen all this while I was photographing them and what was around me. It was rather a difficult task as it was rather minimal lighting in the building as they had skylights etc. I did the best I could in the situation and got a few really good shots that I hope the person paying for the photos will like. Overall it was a happy and entertaining day and I think all enjoyed the experience.
